What is a slow cooker?

To put it simply, the slow cooker is an appliance which works at a low temperature to simmer food over a longer period than normal cooking. You can cook a variety of things in a slow cooker such as meats, soups, or drinks. Due to the nature of the slow cooking, cooking meat in the cooker leaves you with delicious tender meat. You can batch cook a large amount of soup in the slow cooker (depending on the size of it) so you can save it for lunches for the week or to serve to guests.
